 Scrum Master - Agile Coach

​

 

 Role & Responsibilities:
  • Guardian of the proper use and application of the Agile Methodology.

  • Facilitate and organize the different agile/scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Grooming, Demo, Retrospective).

  • Assist the product owner with keeping the backlog groomed

  • Remove the team’s impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments.

  • Encourage close cooperation, collaboration and communication across internal and external team members by facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution.

  • Protect the team from external interference in order to keep the team focused on the agreed prioritized tasks and organize the way to tackle requests in the team's backlog.

  • Ensure regular and relevant agile reporting.

  • Guide the team on how to get the most out of self-organization.

  • Strengthen the presence of our team as an Agile centre of excellence.

  • Actively contribute to the company’s Agile and Lean Community.

 

 Required Skills/Experience:
  • Previous solid professional experience as a Scrum Master or Agile coach where you have diligently applied Scrum principles, practices and theory.

  • Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.

  • Knowledge of Agile and Lean methods (Scrum, Kanban and scaling frameworks like SAFe or Spotify).

  • Able to be in the mindset of co-creation with the team and internal clients.

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder’s management and mentoring skills.

  • Business mindset and Customer first attitude.

  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English in written and spoken form, other languages are a plus

  • Project management certification is a plus (e.g. Prince II, PMI, etc.)

  • Agile certifications are a strong plus (Prince2 agile, Certified Scrum Master, Certified Product Owner, SAFE…)

  • You have a learning attitude.
